Leaf-mines
Birches
- Lyonetia clerkella, the Apple leaf-miner, is a generalist that is commonly found on Birch as well as its more usual hosts in the Rosaceae family
- Rhamphus pulicarius, a weevil commonly found on Sallows is occasionally also found on Birch.
- Roeslerstammia erxlebella, the Copper Ermel moth, occasionally mines birch leaves as well as the more usual Lime host.
