White Spindles/Pointed Club - Clavaria

Description

The fragile white unbranched clubs growing in grassland.may either be White Spindles (Clavaria fragilis) or Pointed Club (Clavaria acuta or Clavaria falcata sensu lato.)  It is very hard to separate these, even with microscopic examination, and a number of other speces may be present in the C. falcata speces complex.

Therse species are important indicators of conservation grasslands, and therefore we do still want records, even if only to genus.
