Elatobium abietinum
A pale to dark green aphid found on spruce (Picea) or silver fir (Abies) needles, usually Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis). See Infuential Points (link below) for a description. It sometimes causes defoliation and can be a serious pest of Sitka Spruce plantations.
