A tiny snail (1.5mm) which is matt brown with regular and even coils. The surface has closely-packed growth growth lines (which give it the matt sheen). The umbilicus is relatively large. Though supposedly common it is rarely recorded, probably due to its small size. It usually lives in leaf litter.
