Redleg Club - Typhula erythropus
A small white club with a red-brown stem growing from a brown disc-like sclerotium on the petioles, midribs etc. of the leaves of various deciduous trees and shrubs. The stem is minutely hairy - use hand lens.
There are several other species of small white clubs growing on leaf litter.
