A small hopper with thin ridges on the head over and under the eyes, forming an x-shape on the face.  Males have dark marking on the head, but females are much lighter.  The hindwings are almost as long or large as forewings, and the forewings are minutely ridged (rugose); close examination and oblique lighting is needed to see this.
