Baranisobas ridibundus
This ichneumon wasp has pale antennal bands and long basal flagellomeres. It has a dark red upper abdomen (mainly red on tergites 1-4) but with a pale end. Legs are mainly red with black on the apical end of the hind tibia. The scutum is dark red. The scutellum red-tinged with ivory at the posterior. Females have a short slim straight ovipositor.
