Alomya semiflava
11-17mm. One of two UK Alomya species. Head and thorax black and the abdomen is orange with a black tip. Tibia and tarsi are yellow with the mid and hind femora black. The front femora are brick-red in the middle. The stigma is orange with a pale yellow base and the wings are slightly tinted.
August to September
It has a single generation.
Common but under-recorded.
