Agromyza idaeiana
The larvae of the fly Agromyza idaeiana often mine the leaves of Creeping Cinquefoil (Potentilla reptans) although many other species in the Rosaceae are used. The mine is variable; it may be linear, with frass in a double row, or develop into a blotch obscuring the initial corridor.
See the National Agromyzidae Recording Scheme for further details and more information about this species.
Agromyza sulfuriceps, A filipendulae, Phytomyza heringiana.

Provide a back-lit image of the leaf-mine and state the host plant. Due to the number of hosts known for this species, and the variation in the mine characteristics, it may be necessary to rear the adult insect and have this identified by a national expert.
Where the larval foodplants occur. See the National Agromyzidae Recording Scheme for details of host species.
